Hi Kay! What a brilliant picture of Kaitlyn back at home again! She looks so chubby and lovely - you'd never know what a tough time she's had! She really is a little fighter - no wonder you're so proud of her. Hope all goes smoothly with the catheter (are you listening, Kaitlyn?!?) and you can get home for a lovely long spell of normal life!
Wow, Kaitlyn looks so healthy and happy to be home again. What a little superstar she is! Enjoy every precious moment :-) Love from Chris (SeasiderGirl) xxx
Our daughter Kaitlyn was born on 5th June 2006 with a complex congenital heart defect know as Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. Basically the left side of her heart failed to develop and without open heart surgery she would not have survived. So far she has had two open heart surgeries and will need another before she starts school. She has a protective big brother called Joshua. This blog is her story.
